Feels so surreal to be on stage receiving this scroll knowing that I am a med-school graduate now. Definitely wasn't an easy journey for sure. 5 years full of struggles, heartbreaks, emotional breakdown, probably a little happiness and joy (in final year 😂).

Dreaming of entering med-school is everyone's dream and I am definitely a part of it too. However not everyone will talk about the amount of stress that you have to encounter throughout your 5 years of studying. Not sure how I survived my last few months of med-school - with sleep deprived face, caffeine overdose, always feel nauseated, nightmares (😂 kinda over but YES). Whatever it is, I am super proud of myself that I made it to the end and now leaving the campus as a successful doctor. There were moments where I started doubting myself whether am I really a good candidate to be a qualified doctor ? Did I make a wrong decision entering med-school earlier ? You will definitely have thousands going on in your head squeezing your cortex 😂, but trust me your answer is your own self motivation. Remember why you started and keep reminding yourself that you are not going to fall apart by any chance.

I would like to to express my sincere gratitude to my doctors, parents, patients, fellow batchmates, my lovely roomie and definitely my football/futsal partners - probably the only time where I can forget about everything for a period of time, destressing myself from busy study schedules and reports. Trust me, thats your only escape from reality you can ever imagine of especially when you are in your final year.

Truly indebted to each and everyone of you who always motivated me, stood beside me, pushing me to the edge especially in the last few weeks before my Professional 2 assessment. Couldn't imagine where would I have been standing if not because of your prayers and wishes. Thank you everyone for your love 💕🥺

I don’t know how many people out there see their car as just an asset, but I definitely don’t.

To me, he is like a living brother — my friend, my safe zone, my comfort place, and so much more. 🚙🩷

I’ve cried inside him, laughed with him, had countless conversations with myself in him, and found comfort in him on days when everything felt a little too much.

And I’ve even cried for him.

I still remember the first time I noticed the scratches and damage after he got hit from behind. Somehow, seeing those marks hurt me more than I expected. That was probably the moment I realised…

He was never just a car to me.

He has been there through chapters of my life that nobody else has seen. And perhaps that’s why, no matter how much his value depreciates on paper, his value to me never will. 🩷🚙

One thing about me is, I’ll always somehow figure a way out of anything.
-
Four months ago, I barely had any water confidence. Fast forward to today, I can swim freestyle non-stop in a 25m pool, do backstroke, breaststroke, float, and actually feel comfortable in the water.
-
I’m not flexing. I’m genuinely proud of myself for always taking things into my own hands and figuring things out along the way.And that mindset doesn’t just apply to swimming. It applies to the major decisions I’ve made in my life too.
-
Next month, I’ll be stepping into a completely new chapter and chasing a dream that once felt so far-fetched. Maybe that’s what this whole journey has been preparing me for — learning to trust myself, take the leap, and figure things out along the way.
-
2026 will be a year I’ll never forget until my last breath. The ups and downs I’ve experienced have been beyond imagination. Somehow, through all of it, I kept finding a way forward.
