Tattooing under the alias deviantbeing, Amber’s vinyl collection serves as an intimate trinket, shared with friends in the dusk of summer; sonic love letters circling the living room floor.
Expect a gentle weaving of 00s hip hop, bargain bin laments, and cheeky bass for their Wednesday debut. taken in Coro wine & vinyls by @deviantbeing._

Gosh I already miss the sights,
& the sounds & the smells

you can S M E L L the wet of the earth
all the little ones in the forest hill,
my big feet running after memories of mine
my small stage, smaller than Nana then;
my finger was but the length of a touch-me-not.

they were my bestest friends at the playground,
‧₊˚❀༉‧₊˚.missed them ‧₊˚❀༉‧₊˚.
I miss her already :-( my little Root.
& i am most definitely weeping, but i guess with the utmost Joy by @deviantbeing._

𝒜 𝓉𝓇𝒾𝒻ℯ𝒸𝓉𝒶 ℴ𝒻 ℴ𝓇𝑔𝒶𝓃𝒾𝒸 𝓈𝒽𝒶𝓅ℯ𝓈
For Jem (part 2)

Somewhere between a lashing sun, textured star, and lithe sea creature.
Sometimes I lack the vision for pieces that, in the moment, only ever feel like drafts to me. But I know it is very important that I keep them close, so that they eventually find their way home.

Thank you for such a sweet afternoon ☺︎🦋

𝒜 𝓉𝓇𝒾𝒻ℯ𝒸𝓉𝒶 ℴ𝒻 ℴ𝓇𝑔𝒶𝓃𝒾𝒸 𝓈𝒽𝒶𝓅ℯ𝓈
For Jem (part 1)

These pieces were found tucked away in some older pages of flash, and then tattooed at my grandmother’s apartment.
She was very curious and came to inspect the process at various stages.
The moment was incredibly nostalgic, my first trip back home was essentially this set up.
Suddenly the notions of home intersect, and the act becomes collective. Although she isn’t the biggest fan of my bodywork, she most definitely enjoys being around the creativity, and witnessing a moment of trust and connection.

𝒟ℯ𝓋𝒾𝒶𝓃𝒸ℯ

I'd choose 𝒹ℯ𝓋𝒾𝒶𝓃𝒸ℯ over anything, any day
to speak without tongues, only tears
deviant beings
know the feeling of a sun's kiss better than anyone,
the cool trickle of neon waters,
the utmost importance of tradition
~ to wade deeply in it ~ &
its neverending suppleness to time,

(its softness should never be forgotten, hearts aren't supposed to be made of stone)

Time will change everything, including tradition,
including you, including i,
