Wow—it’s been over 8 years since I’ve posted anything other than my daughter on here.
Time to turn the camera around.
I’m diving headfirst into the new year and the last year of my 40s with an intent to create. My goal—to have fun and document the things I love. And maybe in a few years I’ll have a library of stories to look at that make me smile.

Soaking up the ocean air and wild flowers on this beautiful summer-like day. Moving my body and feeling so grateful for my health.

I always start out like I’m running a race, but by the end, I walk slower and with more intention- like the old woman I want to become. Arms behind me, deep breaths, sun on my face. Even got a greeting from this young soul of 34 years.

Monday mood: comfy, crisp, caffeinated, and ready to go.
These Uniqlo trousers live up to the hype. Comfortable, polished, and they tailor them for free on-site. As a petite who tailors everything, this was a dream! I’m definitely going back for at least one more pair.

I cleaned my closet yesterday and donated over 100 items. Felt so good!

As I slowly rebuild, I’m starting with budget, friendly finds from Target.

2 bottoms
2 sweaters
1 jacket
1 pair of shoes
1 pair of sunglasses

I tend to over complicate things. So this year I made a list: Five things to focus on. That’s it. No resolutions. No vision boards. Just five things that feel true to who I actually am - not who I think I should be.

The hardest one? Saying no without explaining myself. I catch myself feeling the need to justify why I can’t or don’t want to do something. It’s wild how hard it is to just say no and leave it there.

Anyone else or just me?
