A little throwback clip from my episode of ‘The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air!’

Thank you @paraeden90s for posting this. The 90s was such a great time for Black comedies. So much fun working with Will Smith and the rest of the cast. 😁🥹

I started in sketch comedy and improv when I first moved to LA. @chris.williams_ @iamwendyraquel and I used to be part of an improv group called ‘The Rainbow Collision’ and we performed at a theater in Santa Monica. Here we are…years later, performing together again..but this time gettin’ paid 😁
I am so proud of you both!

A day of dualities.

Two celebrations: one with joy, the other with grief.

I was so proud and excited for my friend and little ‘seester’ @ncsugirl23 and her self-produced Comicon known as ‘Sherocon’ produced through her own company @sherocomics

I know how hard Shequeta works to bring excellence, diversity and representation to a very niche industry and I am excited to support and cheer her on… even in the Valley heat, lol!

Earlier that day, we said good-bye and celebrated the life and home-going of good friend @marimorrowofficial mother, Corine Morrow, affectionately known as, ‘Ms. Connie.’🥹

It was a lovely, intimate ceremony beautifully hosted by @tangieambrose full of laughter and tears. We were especially blessed and surprised by the unexpected, impromptu singing of @singjessesing
You betta’ Sang, boy!! 😁🎶👏🏽

Rest in peace Ms. Connie. Well done, Mari. ❤️‍🩹🕊️🙏🏽
Congratulations Shequeta. So proud of you. 🥹❤️

So excited for my longtime and good friend @troyactwrite and his lovely, beautiful new bride Dr. Kim Brown! 💍❤️

I could not be happier for these two! What an amazing wedding celebration full of love, joy, and great people!

Unfortunately, I missed the actual ceremony due to a work conflict but I am grateful that @tangieambrose @xylinadenisecooper @chrysteepharris and @sterling311 shared their content with me 🥹

Congratulations Mr. & Mrs. Williams!!! So proud and happy for you both and I’m looking forward to all the singing opportunities coming Troy’s way after that amazing serenade 😁👏🏽🙏🏽😍

So, I went to the DMV (DC/MD/VA) for a funeral for the unfortunate passing of my friend @collinehernandezayala mom, Jewel Hernandez. 😢🕊️

In spite of the sad occasion and the intense heat dome affecting the east coast, I had such a great time connecting with family & friends, sorority sisters and ending my visit with an all girl’s birthday spa day @baliansprings in VA.

The service was beautiful, the trip was lovely and the time spent was awesome. 🥹🙏🏽

So proud of my friend @bettina.fisher11 for producing last night’s panel on mental health held at the ‘Linwood Dunn Theatre,’ in Hollywood.

The event: ‘From The Margins to The Mainstream: Mental Health Over The Last Decade,’ was an insightful, raw conversation about mental health, film and advocacy. We were not wired to struggle alone. 🥹

The panelists were so honest and transparent Thank you for being your authentic selves. Well done @iamtamikalewis on moderating an excellent conversation.

Thank you to Bettina, @theacademy and the @rudermanfamilyfoundation for sponsoring this event and for our gifted book ‘Find Your Fight.’ You know I like free! 😆😉

Well done!
