If October was a ceremony, it would look like this. 🍁

There’s something about flowers and a mountain view that makes the ceremony architecture of @devilsthumbranchweddings feel softer.

For Caren and Lance’s wedding, we brought in a classic fall palette through seasonal blooms and a kind of creative magic that only happens when you’re designing for two people deeply in love during one of the most romantic times of the year.

We created a color-blocked ceremony story inspired by the landscape itself: bright yellows for the aspens, deep oranges for the changing leaves, and rich reds pulled from the maples.

It felt like designing our own little autumn forest, a miniature version of a perfect sunny day spent leaf-peeping-translated into flowers, color, and celebration.

Like it grew there.

The most compelling designs don’t announce themselves.

Set against the views of @devilsthumbranchweddings , this ceremony became an exercise in letting the landscape lead. We followed its movement, its tones, its textures, allowing each stem to retain its own character while becoming part of something larger.

“Like it grew there” is a sentiment we carry into everything we create. Not forcing nature into a composition, but listening to what’s already there and building from it.

The goal is simple: to step back and feel completely immersed. To wonder where the landscape ends and the design begins.

This ceremony is the epitome of that idea. Another stunner with our friends @callunaevents

Proof that intimate does not mean boring. Give us a snowy mountain, candlelight, greenery everywhere, and just enough people to actually talk to everyone in the room. 🥂 We’d happily take this kind of wedding day any winter weekend. 🤍

Selfishly, I love how cool I feel flying a drone. I think I look amazing, guests are always surprised and amazed, and the photos are always stunning.

As an aside, Cocktail hour is the best hour.
