Won my finals match at the JJWL California Championship 🥇 Grateful for my coaches and team at Sektor Jiu Jitsu for always being there for me. Every match teaches me something new — about jiu jitsu and about myself. I’m growing, maturing, and learning that hard work never stops. There’s still a lot more to do, but I’m proud of how far I’ve come. Big thank you to coach @nolanstuartbjj for being in my corner.

There are so few of you in this division, you’ve already won something just by making it here.

To be one of the few kids competing at this level, in this age, weight and belt division says so much about the years of work it took to get here. The early mornings, late nights, hard rounds, losses, wins and everything in between.

No matter what happens when you step on that mat, I hope you always understand how special it is to even be standing there.

I’m so proud of you, Devin. Keep showing up, keep working, and keep enjoying every part of this journey. I’ll always be your biggest supporter.

All I do is make myself cry 😭😭❤️

You don’t get better by not showing up for yourself. You don’t reach big goals by playing it safe. Keep showing up. Keep putting in the work. Keep believing you’re capable of more 🙌🏽
