Today, I was sworn in.

A lifelong goal achieved. But the truth is… the goal was never the destination. It was the transformation.

Every setback. Every sacrifice. Every trial and tribulation brought me here.

I realized the old me had to die for the new me to be born.

I didn’t fight this hard just to arrive. I fought to become. To belong.

From the struggle to the courtroom.
From the dream to the oath.
From who I was… to who I am now.

Today is the beginning of a new chapter.

And this time, I know exactly who I am.

From the streets to the classroom, the journey to the top never ends. 💎

Back to Jersey — but this time, I’m coming home with a different kind of weight on my shoulders. Bar passed. Family close. Homecoming. Bottles popping. Celebrating all weekend.

But the real victory is being able to come back to where the story started and pour something back into the next generation. From chasing survival to chasing greatness, and now standing in front of students at my alma mater, showing them what’s possible when you refuse to let your starting point dictate your destination.

October in Jersey is a full-circle moment.

Family. Education. Celebration. Legacy.

The streets taught me how to move.
The classroom taught me how to think.
The bar taught me the discipline to finish.

From the streets to the classroom — the journey to the top is never ended. 🥂🎓🏆

Master your mind. Control what you can. Accept what you can’t.

The real battle is knowing when to keep fighting and when to let go. You can’t force every outcome, control every move, or make everything happen on your timeline.

Move with intention. Release the outcome. Trust God’s plan. What’s meant for you will find its way. taken in Brampton, Ontario by @devingyoung_

Your name? That’s your real currency.

In business, you’re going to have bad deals, difficult partners, and situations that don’t go the way you planned.

But never let a bad business decision turn into a bad reputation.

Money can be replaced. Deals can be rebuilt. Opportunities come back around.

Move with integrity, keep your word, handle your business, and even when the relationship ends, leave the room with your reputation intact.

Because in this game, people may forget the deal…

They never forget how you did business. taken in New Brunswick, New Jersey by @devingyoung_

Business isn’t for the soft.

You either learn the game, protect your position, and move with purpose—or somebody else will take your seat.

I’m not competing to be noticed. I’m building to be undeniable.

A Boss knows not to chase every opportunity. He knows when to move, when to apply pressure, and when to let the results speak.

Survival built the mindset. Discipline built the business. taken in Miami Beach, Florida by @devingyoung_

Some battles are won before they even start.
The advantage was created long before anybody realized there was even competition.

Being a step ahead changes everything when you move smarter than they think, quieter than they expect, and more prepared than they could imagine.

While they react to the moment, you already planned the outcome.

Most people wake up early just to catch the market.
I wake up early to make the moves that affect the market.

That extra time? That’s the advantage.
Capitalize on it. Make it unfair. Move so far ahead they confuse preparation with luck.

It’s only considered competition if they ever had a chance.

While they sleep, I’m creating leverage.
Early bird gets the worm, but the leader builds the empire.
Always two steps ahead, turning vision into advantage and advantage into legacy.

Sat back long enough to realize how far I’ve really come.
The shift from trying to doing changes everything—especially when the results start speaking louder than the plans ever did.

Now it’s less about chasing and more about appreciating… the fruit of the labor, the finer tastes, the art, the peace.

Life keeps evolving, and so do I.
It really gets greater later.

Lately it’s been more fallouts than flowers… but the pure don’t need permission. To all the gatekeepers, self absorbed and frauds… Success was always inevitable for the real so less compliments lately… just means I am getting closer.

Had to grow up early… now the same people who prayed for me are watching the prayers pay off. Built different. No blueprint, no siblings—just pressure, sacrifice, and a promise to make it mean something.
