I just want to thank every single person who donated to make this possible. Just a few months I ago I started writing and fully trying to pursue the goals I had in film and it is only and ever going to be because of the great support I have and get from my friends and family. I want to give a special shout out to@ethany8090 @reeseanderson @thaliaskaleris @glennbreezo John Jenks Jr@mccann_kat Each donated and has been the starting driving forces to even have me make this possible. Each of them are producers in their own right.This is just the beginning and make it to The film festivals or not we will create something that we can look back on as legacy by @devinlhoward

Before anything, I’m a boy mom first. 💙A photo with my oldest two sons… missing my youngest son in this moment.I became a parent in my very early 20s, but God knew exactly what He was doing. Looking back now in my 40s, I feel blessed and grateful that I’ve been able to grow with my boys — laugh with them, live life with them, and love them through every stage.I won’t pretend the journey was perfect. Becoming a mom at a young age while still learning how to be an adult myself wasn’t easy. There were challenges, lessons, sacrifices, and plenty of moments where I questioned if I was doing enough. But we made it here.With the love and support of my family, I raised three amazing young men. They’ve never been to jail, don’t have kids, stayed away from drugs, graduated high school, and made it into their 20s. And for that, I truly feel like I did a damn good job. 🙌🏽I’ll never forget one day years ago when an older woman stopped me in the mall and told me God had blessed me with three boys. The way she looked at me and spoke felt almost angelic… and just as quickly as she appeared, she was gone. To this day, I still believe she was a Godsend.#boymom #my3sons by @devinlhoward

In 2025 I got the chance to dance in The superbowl which is absolutely a bucket list moment in my life. What got me to that was in my submission I drew a photo of kendrick and I was told he got the drawing in his dressing room right before we went out...I dont know if thags true but I think it is. Any way I also was working on one for @sza but it wasn't completed yet and I just wasn't sure how to go about it. I got it to a point today where I think im ok with it. @sza i hope ya like it and I'll get it to ya at some point💀 by @devinlhoward

These last few weeks I got to work on a pretty cool and extremely funny film and met some incredible people. In the gaps of free time I had I wanted to challenge myself and see how many drawings I could do in as little time as possible. Excuse some of the audio and video desyncing and the rough look around the edges. Ive been wanting to make s video like this for a while. I know for alot of us it feels like the world is worse than ever. But I dont want to just feel helpless. Hopefully this video does something to combat that feeling for others. ✨ Walking into @jam.nola felt like stepping into another universe… and every room told a NOLA story ✨Finally made it to the second JAMNOLA location, thanks to my girl @ordinarilyextraordinarymom and @nolamommybloggertribe 💛 My son @devinlhoward and I got to experience the new space, and whew… I was BLOWN AWAY.From the moment you walk in, it’s art on art on ART. Walls covered in faces, artists, culture, a custom JAMNOLA headpiece — and that’s just the beginning. Every door opens into a whole new world: underground sewer vibes with hidden messages 👀, neon lights inside the belly of a gator 🐊, a swamp house with momma crawfish cooking up soulful goodness, and melted vinyl records sculpted into the most beautiful flower wall I’ve ever seen 🌸🎶.One of my favorite rooms? A salon/boudoir space that celebrated Black hair in all its glory — textures, colors, braids, weaves — truly powerful and beautifully done 👑✨ Another room felt like a chill Esplanade patio moment… press a button, lights go out, petals appear 🌺 real vibes.Then you step into Tremé, where jazz and blues fill the air and time feels suspended 🎷🎺. Each exhibit asks you to come open-minded, feel the music, envision the moments, and EMBODY New Orleans — because this city really is magic.Seeing the Mardi Gras Indian suits, especially honoring Ms. Lorita Dollis, Queen of the Wild Magnolia Indian Tribe, was everything ❤️ And the room filled with NOLA greats — Louis Armstrong, Professor Longhair, Dr, John, Fats Domino, Irma Thomas, Lil Wayne, and Big Freedia — felt like Mount Rushmore, but make it New Orleans.One quote on the wall said it best:“In New Orleans, it’s not the heat — it’s the creativity.”And baby… THAT’S NOLA.This post doesn’t even scratch the surface — Part 2 & 3 coming because there’s SO much to see 👀✨If you’re visiting New Orleans and short on time, make JAMNOLA a PRIORITY. While im recovering I decided to try and get back to drawing. BEHOLD....a thing im doing. I am for the first fully committed to bringing at least 1 of the things I've written to life. In order to hold myself accountable for it im gonna share the process. I am currently writing the script and im excited excited see what happens....if it goes the way I plan then you'll see me at a few film festivals. Ive met some incredible people this year who have given nothing short of the greatest advice I could have in this life and industry. I hope to show you all what I got.
