Solo tripped and side quested my way through Cape Town… Cheers to #22🥂

Trip started off a little rocky… got scammed out of $500 from a fake Uber😭But I prevailed☝🏾 Thank you God for the experiences and people I met along the way. Wish I could say South Africa owes me nothing… BUT I will be back again next year because it’s too beautiful to only experience once😂 To close this out, I’m just happy and proud of the man that I’m becoming. My inner child is cheesing from ear to ear and I can’t wait to keep making lil Dev proud!🙏🏾

Pt.2: ONLY GOD. All I can say is please tell that little kid to keep dreaming! AND question everything… don’t get stuck in the routine that a 9-5 is the only way. Ephesians 3:20-21. Just give God your “yes” and let him work on you even in our imperfection. ONLY GOD.

Delta one at 20 geez! And I didn’t pay a thing🙌🏾 the testimony is long but what turned into almost a 3 hr mechanical delay to getting first class both ways to London and back! To getting a free drink for being friendly to Yasmine the Barista, good vibes, nice flight attendants, and GREAT food.

I did it at 20!!🚨THANK YOU LORD!‼️There’s no other answer than God himself explaining how I’ve gotten this far. Despite all my mistakes, He found me where I was and kept me through it all. So, as of December 16th, I graduated from the Illustrious North Carolina A&T State University with a B.S. in Finance. Thank you @ncatsuaggies for an amazing two years and the CULTURE that’s been created on campus. One thing about THIS school is it draws some of the most talented, CREATIVE, smart, visionary, and gifted people that I’m blessed to know. Thank you to everyone who has poured into me, congratulated me, and supported me during my college years! I really couldn’t have done it without my community. Lastly, God has truly been over it all. Just a quick memory, in my 1st semester, I finished with a 2.7 b/c I failed Intermediate Accounting (ifykyk), and the following semester I got kicked out of the Honors program and lost my scholarship. Ever since I’d been fighting to bring up my GPA while dealing with the mental battle of wanting to drop out and just say “F it”. I had never failed as hard as I have in college both academically and personally, however, these experiences have stretched me in so many ways. So when I say GOD DID IT, His grace/mercy got me through to the very end, seriously.

Now, onto the next destination! My next stop is waiting for me in ATL. I’ll be moving in January to start a FT Financial Analyst role at Delta Air Lines. The Sky is the Limit.
