TWO very special announcements on this Memorial Day - @theherorunofficial has officially joined forces with @mission_22 in the war against veteran suicide. @theherorunofficial is now an official 501(c)(3) Non-Profit Organization serving veterans and their communities across the US.
Mission 22 is an incredibly powerful advocate and a driving force behind spreading awareness and providing mental, physical, social, spiritual and overall wellness help to all veterans and their families.
The fight against suicide starts at the Core – our identity. Not only who we are outside of subjective experiences, training, career, and environment, but most importantly – Whose we are.
When we first connected with Mission 22 thanks to our Chairman - @thelincolnkorver - we instantly knew our partnership is a perfect fit. Our goals, views and credo walk hand-in-hand and together we will work not only to bring the 3000 mile run across the USA to its execution in summer of 2026, but for the longevity of the marathon that the fight for human life and identity is.
We at The Hero Run and Mission 22 strongly believe that our identity and belonging are bigger than all of these events, however impactful, and rooted in a power far bigger than any of our earthly sufferings, traunas and past – Jesus Christ.
And this is exactly what we want to help our incredible veterans feel – that they’re bigger than the trauma, the pain, the suffering and their past. That they can look ahead with hope, a future and a powerful community behind and around them.

On this Memorial Day, we take our hats off and stand in solemn appreciation for all of our veterans, living or fallen, and their brave families.
Our nation is shaped by the sacrifices of these incredible men and women. We love you and we are here to fight for you just like you fought for us. You are not alone.
Happy Memorial Day ♥️🇺🇸 by @devinpschmidt

Is the American flag I just attached to my house too big? Maybe. I love you America. My daughter’s pink bike is symbolic of my appreciation of my country. I am grateful to live in a country that gives me the freedom to live well and raise my family. #ilovefreedom #4thofjuly #merica by @devinpschmidt

I don’t usually paint shoes but my good friend @carlossparxz costume wasn’t complete without some custom kicks. He wore them at @thethornofficial tour 2020. by @devinpschmidt
