Here’s a look at some of the rough animation I did for A Goofy Movie 360° Concert Experience with @cartuna! I had the absolute joy of animating the biggest rock star on the planet, Powerline ⚡️

Easily one of the most exciting and rewarding characters I’ve worked on.
Check out some of the shots I contributed, and stay tuned for more coming soon 👀

Here it is, my capstone film The Chaos Clover!

This was a gigantic project, and I'm so proud of how it turned out. The screening today had such a thunderous reaction and for that I'm so grateful. I would be remisced, however, if I didn't shout out all of the excellent people who helped this film come to life!

@musclebro_animation and Lily Cantillo for their fantastic animation contributions

@austin.j.kephart for the best-in-class score that brought the musical number to life

@shannonrose1234 for her absolute wizardly on the sound design

@kodewitt.art and @colloquialcryptid for the absolutely stunning backgrounds

Plus a slew of colorists, musicians, friends, family, and more!

Thank you all for watching.

Here’s another style study exercise I just wrapped up, this time in the style of hashtag#HelluvaBoss! 😈 Another really fun one to pull off. I really appreciate how expressive the characters are in the show, it makes animating them both fun and rewarding.

With Season 8 premiering just yesterday, what better time to share the next of my animation style exercises, #RickAndMorty! 🧪🛸

Really pleased with how this one came out, definitely one of my favorites to both work on and show off.

Everyone has an art style they naturally gravitate toward, I personally tend to favor golden age to ’90s animation. But I’ve been wanting to prove I can work in more modern animation styles too.

To both challenge myself and expand my portfolio, I’ve started an exercise in faithfully recreating the look and feel of current, popular animated shows. It’s been a fun process so far, here’s the first piece I did in the #BobsBurgers style! 🍔

More coming soon 👀

In addition to my main man Powerline, I also had the chance to animate tons of easter egg and background characters for A Goofy Movie 360° Concert Experience with @cartuna , including Bigfoot, a possum, and a background dancer. It was a great opportunity to flesh out the world of Powerline’s performance and contribute across a wide range of characters.

As an interesting factoid, Bigfoot looks a little squashed at first because 360 layouts can distort proportions, so he had to be squashed to read correctly in the final view. by @devins.realm

I'm excited to announce that I'll be at this year's @lightboxexpo! I can’t wait to meet some amazing animation folks and hopefully catch up with old friends. I'll be there all three days—looking forward to seeing you all!

CHOOSE YOUR FIGHTER!!
.
Did an exercise combining characters from Super Smash Bros. Ultimate with the art styles of various TV shows. This was a really fun challenge and helped me better understand the nuances of each style. (Also I desperately needed a portfolio piece to show I can handle a wide range of styles LOL) There are still a few details I never quite nailed, but overall, I’m really happy with how close I got. Which one is your favorite?
