Personal transformation
.
From January 2017 (left)
To May 2023 (right)
.
Through all the trials and tribulations I went through..
All the fad diets I have a try to and failed…
To the time I starved myself and did cardio 2-3 hours a day…
.
I was able to go through and make all of my own mistakes along the way to eventually find “my way” of being successful with my physique and health.
.
Although I’ve admitted to myself many times “I do things in extremes”, these last 6 weeks post-comp are no different.
I left the national stage without any body goals in mind, and with that came an extreme, but being more sedentary. This has caused a few dips in mindset and drive, but it’s another reminder that without goals we fade away.
.
Sometimes we need a reminder, to see where we started and what we achieved in order to take control again and move forward.
I’ve learned so much over the years that I’m able to take that experience and assist others in avoiding the same mistakes and ultimately speeding up a clients process. Without them needing to go through drastic learning curves of excessive failure.
Although I don’t necessarily feel the desire to get any bigger, I do plan on hitting the national stage again in the oncoming years. So with that goal in mind I need to keep working on myself (as we all do) and continue to grow through self-development.
.
Not only to bring myself to the stage in better condition, but to also inspire others to keep pursuing to be better.
.
The “end goal” is health and longevity, and we’re sure not at the end of our life yet. by @devohes

1 solid year with this beast. @_ryleeclark72

4 weeks out from his first competition and he’s 🔪🔪
.
Since meeting last year Rylee has become far more clear on where he wants to head in life.
Rylee has become much more than just a client in the last year. Not only has he fallen in love with bodybuilding but he also has decided to pursue personal training/coaching as well.
With that I’ve taken him under my wing to mentor and help him keep on the trajectory he’s set for himself.
.
He has shown quite the resilience for his first time going through prep, minimal complaining, although hard on himself when he struggles.
But that’s a great quality, so long as he harnesses it to love him forward and not let ego get in the way.
So far, he seems to do a great job at that.

Excited to crush the stage and future with you my friend

Client success stories are always my favorite.
I can’t even lie, Carlene has to be one of my favorite clients I picked up this year (sorry/not sorry).
.
Within only a few months of working together we have completely changed her mindset and moved her forward to a far healthier and improved version of herself.
The dedication is there. The consistency is there. The effort is top notch.
I couldn’t ask for more.
AND SHES IN HER 60’s!
.
I am beyond thrilled to be part of her success story

That smile, it says it all 😊

You’ve spent years building it—set by set, rep by rep.
Not just a body, but a legacy.
A monument of effort, sculpted in pain, discipline, and defiance.

Devlin Heslehurst @devohes brought that legacy into the light.
He stood not as a model, but as a myth—
a living statue of strength and silence, carved by time.

And yet in today’s world, all that work?
It’s too often reduced to gym selfies and scroll-past moments.
Just another square on a feed.

But in truth, it deserves more.
It deserves reverence.
It deserves to be seen for what it is: physical excellence, born of will.

We don’t just take images.
We show what was always there: sacrifice, symmetry, and soul.
Virtus exists to frame the body as it deserves to be seen—
not as content, but as art.

Devlin built the form.
We honored it.
All that work—seen.

🛡️ Immortalize your discipline.
🎖️ Display your sacrifice.
✨ Stand as the masterpiece.

@_.virtus._
A vision of strength, made timeless.

My top 3 gym etiquette pet peeves by @devohes

“Wrong” is something many are concerned with when it comes to form on exercises.
Depending on your goals it may look wrong to some, but fits exactly your needs. This also means there are ways to do the exercise better for your specific goals. by @devohes
