Has anything changed? Read caption 👇👇👇 Did that hand dryer get a service or clean? EDIT: please see my follow up videos on this topic, e.g. what the results mean, what those blobs are, and other hand dryers tests, thanks For its viral birthday 🎉 (28M views), I went back and retested THE hand dryer seen by so many last year, but this time I also tested my hands before & after using it 😫 This test appears to show that my hands have more bacteria on them after using the hand dryer, but I'm not convinced this is what is happening and I think something else is going on! What do you think? EDIT: Thanks for all your comments on this, I have uploaded a reel to summarise what these results mean based on your thoughts and comments 😊 I know that bacteria come out of hand dryers. They live inside the machine, on the dusty inlet vents - see my other videos on this - but does that matter? I've identified the main 🦠 species growing, they're common environmental bacteria, the kind you find everywhere and on your skin. Remember this is a quick test, not a scientific experiment, but it could be a great project for someone studying microbiology. I've tested a few different hand dryers and various objects over the last 12 months, have a look at the videos on my profile. #handdryer #bacteria #viral #germs #dirty by @devon_science

Last week we visited Tavistock Primary School, who found us through a Google AI recommendation of Devon Science and our Forces show and workshops while they were hunting for a hands-on science experience for their year 5s! 🏎️🚀⚖️💥 We delivered fun demonstrations and all the children built their own fabulous zooming air-powered car to take home covered with embellishments and decorations. The teacher told us: "The children say that making the cars and testing them was the BEST and that they loved it when you let the balloons go!" ⚡️💥🚀🏎️ Get in touch today to enquire about our workshops and shows available for schools across Devon, Somerset and beyond! #science #scienceshow #scienceexperiments #scienceforkids #stem #scienceiscool #entertainment #scienceisfun #STEMForKids #DIYScience #scienceworkshop by @devon_science

Double trouble potions for a big joint science party in east Devon this weekend, for science fans Antonia and Nancy! Every child got to make lava lamps, color changing bracelets and slime which they took home, so that's their party bag sorted too 🎉🥰🧪 The birthday girls helped us with some fun demos and we played our favourite 'air blast' science game as well with a Coke and Mentos explosion finale 💥 🧪🔬🧫 Get in contact with us to enquire about our crazy chemistry parties, and leave the mess and entertainment to us 😇 #science #sciencefun #ScienceParty #STEM #stemforkids #scienceiscool #CrazyChemistry #chemistryforkids #entertaiment #kidspartyideas by @devon_science

An incredible day running a microscopy drop-in workshop for @sidmouthscience festival at their Super Science Saturday. Hundreds popped by and made their own microscope slides with team members Charlotte and Alex and explored objects close up! We never get tired of hearing people say "wow" when they focus in on cells under the microscope 😍🔬🧪🧫🎉 Thanks to everyone that came down! #science #scienceiscool #scienceshow #underthemicroscope #scienceexperiments #scienceforkids #stem #entertainment #scienceisfun #biology #microscope by @devon_science

"I knew it" says the birthday girl as she makes an erupting potion with Carolyn here 😄 Happy 6th birthday to this young science fan who asked mum and dad for a science party for her birthday. She invited 21 friends over to her house and we hosted our Crazy Chemistry party for them all. The weather stayed nice as we created volcanoes, colour changing potions and games in the garden, and all the children made bubbly lava lamps and slime to take home. Everyone loved it, parents too! Here's what the dad had to say in his review "Devon Science came to our house for our six year old’s birthday party. She absolutely loved it and 22 children aged 3-6 were absolutely gripped. Would 1000% recommend booking them!" Thank you 🤩 #scienceparty #science #potionparty #birthdayparty #kidsparty taken in North Devon by @devon_science

Slime party at home 😀 16 happy kiddos making slime and having their best lives, to celebrate their best friend's birthday. Yes a slime party at home! 😁 No horrid mess, just great slime mixing and squishing, happy times and fun times 🤩 Everyone loved it and they kept their 3 fab slimes of course. Mum was really happy too and left us a 5⭐ review too. Thank you ❤️ ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ "Devon Science held a slime making party for my Daughters 7th Birthday. It was utterly incredible, Ruth was engaging and had everyone transfixed. The party bags of slime were a huge hit and the conversations around the chemistry of the slime making sparked scientific enthusiasm which was wonderful to see amongst them all. I would highly recommend." ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ #slime #slimeparty #scienceparty #birthdayfun #kidsparty by @devon_science
