Eesh, another year older and (not-necessarily) another year wiser haha. Either way I’m grateful that this old-man-body is still capable of some boogie now and then (granted, with much stretching and complaining afterwards) ... haha and thanks to my wife for finding the second video back in her archives 😂

Another year, another SPOCOM in the books! I missed our usual home base in Anaheim, but the LA Convention Center did not disappoint 😎

I’m horrible at video editing, and can be really bad about posting (which is why it took me nearly 5 days to poorly edit a short video haha), but I still can’t get over @onsitesilva and @baker_raiderette ‘s wedding last weekend. 🤯
Of course two sports content creators would have a wedding…
- at Santa Anita Park
- a ceremony that included a favorite poem of Vin Scully’s and tons of sports references like them ending their free agency with a lifetime contract (paraphrasing)😆
- walking down the aisle to “The Autumn Wind” and ending their ceremony with “We Are the Champions”
- cocktail hour with the World Cup and the Dodger game playing on all the TVs
- WHILE the USC marching band played!
- a vegetable dish dyed Laker purple and gold
- a Dodgers cake topper
- a drone show
- attendees in Raiders, Dodgers, and USC gear
- both an In-N-Out truck and a Handel’s ice cream truck for the post-dinner “drun-chies”
- every table having conversations about how “Yama” was looking, should Fernando start, will LeBron be back (spoiler: he won’t)

The energy felt like I was at a home playoff game 🔥😎

John and Jem, I’m so honored you invited my wife and I to attend your “Super Bowl”. We are both wishing you a lifetime of championships 🏆 🏆 🏆

Oh, and… *ahem*
