A delayed mini dump from last week’s 41st Artios Awards! It was a true honor to attend both as a nominee and a CSA Board member. It’s a privilege to be among this kickass community, especially on the year of our first Casting Oscar! 🥹🙌✨

Spotlight on Devon Brady, CSA. ✨ Devon has built a career that spans multiple sides of the entertainment industry - from HR and admin at Lionsgate, to talent management at Bx2 Entertainment, and ultimately to casting, where he’s spent the last seven years helping assemble talent for series across Disney Channel, Netflix, YouTube Premium, Nickelodeon, and independent film.

Devon has also stepped into the casting director role on short-form and new media projects, including verticals for DramaBox, one of the leading platforms in the micro drama space.

He also earned his first Artios Award in 2022 with Doro / Sherwood Casting for ‘All That’ and is now a 2026 Artios nominee for ‘Tab Time’ and ‘Thundermans: Undercover’.

Devon is currently serving as Co-VP of Communications for CSA alongside Tiffany Little Canfield, helping shape how our community connects and shares its work. 🎬

I’ve worked in entertainment for over a decade, having spent the last 6 years in casting. It’s a department that can often be overlooked in the industry, but as vital as any. There are so many highly skilled members of my tribe, including myself, who have spent more time out of work than in these recent years, due to the continual exodus of production from the state and country. Many, like myself, either have lost their insurance, or are on the brink. Some, in even worse financial condition. Film and Television needs to return to Los Angeles, now more than ever.

Support the expansion of the California Film & TV Job Program, and let’s get back to work!
