Hi guys, I’m Devon, the twenty “something” year old behind the lens!! 💐⭐️💗☺️📸

I figured it was time for a rebrand & introduction!

I started my business at 16 years old, in high school, in the middle of COVID-19. Six years later, a LOT has changed- including me, my business, and what I want this to look like moving forward.

I graduated this past May from EIU, and after six years of growing, learning, meeting so many amazing people, and getting to photograph SO many special moments, it felt like the perfect time for a fresh start around here.

So… welcome!!!

Along with the rebrand, I’ve updated my services & pricing, created new contracts, and completely revamped my booking process. I’m excited to have everything a little more organized behind the scenes while still keeping the fun part exactly the same. 🤍

I’ll still be photographing all the things I love- seniors, couples, families, maternity, newborns, milestones, branding, weddings & more!

I genuinely wouldn’t be where I am without every person who has trusted me, encouraged me, and believed in my creative process along the way. 🥹🫶🏼 taken in Casey, Illinois by @devonelizabethphotos

The future Haarmans 🖤🕯️🎞️🍐✨🦢

An incredible evening session spent with two of the best people.

I can still remember being back in high school, heading to Paige’s house after volleyball practice, and getting ready for a football game. She was so nervous because she was finally going to meet this guy from the opposing team after the game.

Little did any of us know, that Friday night would be the beginning of their forever.

Over the years, I’ve had the privilege to document their love story, something I’ll never take for granted. I can’t wait to celebrate these two as on their wedding day as they become the Haarmans. 🤍 taken in Allerton Park and Retreat Center by @devonelizabethphotos

GUYS!! A little something new!! 💄🤍

So excited to officially be teaming up with @facebymacyaleece and now offering professional makeup as an add-on to select sessions with me! 💋✨

The best part?! You can get glammed up by her and then step in front of my camera! The perfect combo to showcase you, your beauty, and her amazing work!

These branding photos of hers felt like the perfect way to announce it. 🫶🏼

One year ago today, I took over this studio space. 🫶🏼

I was a full-time college student who was exhausted, overwhelmed, and honestly had no clue what the future was going to look like. I knew I wanted to keep growing my photography business, but taking on a studio as a 21 year old felt like a BIG risk.

If you would’ve told me a year ago that I’d be where I am today, I probably would’ve laughed in your face. I had no idea what the next year was going to look like.

But I took the chance. I bet on myself, and somehow here we are. 🥹

Truthfully, the studio hasn’t gotten nearly as much attention as I thought it would this past year because life has been BUSY, but I’m really looking forward to putting more time into it this winter. And yes… Christmas minis are coming. 🎄😆

I’m just really thankful. Thankful for the people who have trusted me, supported me, sent their friends my way, booked with me, and continued to believe in this little business of mine.

Cheers to one full year in the studio and hopefully many more to come. 🤍 taken in Casey, Illinois by @devonelizabethphotos

Gracie 🌿🦢💕 I think this session complemented her so perfectly.

We started down at the creek, a place she’s spent so much family time over the years, then ended her session on their family property. Two places so connected to home, family, and her roots. Enjoy your senior year @gr_acie4537 ! by @devonelizabethphotos
