Celebrated my birthday a month early as an excuse to bring a lot of my people together and I’m very very happy I did.

You’re now looking at Cloud Ryter: Private Pilot Edition.

This journey has been a WILD mix of doubt, grit, and rediscovery. From D1 volleyball to finding a new purpose in the sky, I’ve grown in ways I never expected.

And because nothing in aviation comes easy, my first checkride day ended in a weather discontinuance on Wednesday thanks to thunderstorms — which meant days of overthinking and praying until I finally got my shot this morning.

While taxiing back to the hangar, I whispered, “God… your will be done,” and in the quiet that followed, the DPE said nonchalantly, “You passed.” I don’t think I’ve stopped smiling since or will in the near future. Because WOOOO! What a feeling!

So so thankful, so blessed, and so ready for what’s next.
Huge thank you to @flynexa_ Flight School at Mesa Gateway and the dedicated and INCREDIBLE instructors who helped make this possible.

This is truly only the beginning. 💫
