I get compliments on my tattoos all the time, and the question I hear most is, “Where do you get your ink done?” The answer? Mark at @the_remedy_tattoo!

Great tattoos deserve great storytelling! Check out this video I produced, showcasing Mark’s incredible tattoo work and the artistry behind the ink!

DeVonté M. Brown doesn’t just point a camera 🎥—he listens, studies the light, and waits for truth to reveal itself in the frame. Known as THE MAN IN THE ARENA 🥊, the Detroit-born cinematographer and director builds every image with patience and purpose, laying each project brick by brick 🧱. A graduate of the Kansas City Art Institute, he sharpened his craft across narrative and commercial spaces, freelancing for over a decade in editing and cinematography before stepping onto national sets with Queer Eye LLC and moving through the fast pace of American Ninja Warrior ⚡️. His independent spirit lives in projects like Brick By Brick KC and the short film Vie, and continues to evolve through powerful collaborations like Now What. In this episode of Visual Intonation Podcast 🎙️, we explore the rhythm behind his images, the discipline behind his consistency, and the Detroit grit and Kansas City energy that shaped his vision—this is a conversation about craft, patience, and building a body of work that stands on its own.
