Wow. 2025 is coming to an end! What a weird year this was.

The goal this year was really not caring what other people think (thanks charli xcx), and in different ways I think that was accomplished.

Started the year getting ousted from my cafe job, that kind of sent me into a spiral. This on top of other jobs (which let’s just say tested me AGAIN) were not what I wanted to start my year with. Throughout all that though, I had some great people uplifting and empowering my spirit, pushing me to reach my highest potential.

Around the start of June (gay), things finally started looking up! Finally had some stable employment, doing something every weekend and going back to Toronto for pride 2025 was everything I wanted and needed. A need to feed and nourish my soul after the hardship I’d face.

Even through said job becoming less reliable, my very own “party 4 u” moment, that really fucked me up, and other insecurities, this last half of the year felt different. I didn’t feel as depressed or as angry with myself. I finally leaned in and honed my resiliency and kindness and set out on a new, spiritual mental health journey.

And through all this my family (both chosen and blood) have only gotten closer to me. To those pictured here and not, you made more of an impact than you know from close or afar!

Now to what does 2026 have in store? We shall see 😊🤏 by @devontrieslife
