Welcome to DeVos Media 🎥

This is the place where people come to have their stories told — to be loved on, and to have their passions and expertise highlighted in the most beautiful way possible.

I’m Sam DeVos. I came to West Texas from Seattle, and I stayed for the people. The strength, the independence, the soul of this place — there’s nothing like it anywhere else.

So I built a media company to tell its stories. Real estate, restaurants, HVAC, home styling, events — if you’ve got a story worth telling, I want to help you tell it beautifully.

Jesus has my heart — West Texas, you’ve got my camera. Let’s work together.

Jesus.
It’s time I live for Him ☝🏼
It’s time I stopped living in fear.
It’s time I stop compromising my values .
I’m done with the shame.
I’m done with the games.
It’s time I gave my life to the one who set me free from addiction, ugliness, and has a purpose for my life.

I didn’t get into this industry just to sell pools. Somewhere along the way, I fell in love with designing them.

I love taking someone’s ideas, learning how their family actually lives, and turning an empty backyard into a space they can picture themselves enjoying for years.

Every project feels personal to me because I know it’s personal to the people trusting me with it. I genuinely get excited about the details, the design, and watching something we created together finally come to life.

I’m incredibly proud to be part of Premier Pools & Spas and to have the opportunity to create beautiful spaces for families throughout West Texas. I’m even more grateful for every family who has trusted me to be part of something as personal as their home. 🌊

And a very special shoutout to DeVos Media for bringing my vision for this video to life. You captured not only what I do, but why I love doing it, and I couldn’t be happier with how it turned out. 🤍

Your backyard. Your lifestyle. Designed by Cat.

Best seafood in West Texas? 👀🦀🔥

We pulled up to Rig Shack in Odessa to find out — and this spot is bringing serious flavor to the Permian Basin.

From loaded seafood boils to buttery, seasoned favorites, this is one of those places you’ll want to come hungry for. 🌽🦐🦀

If you’re in Odessa or Midland, add Rig Shack to your list and let us know: is this the best seafood in West Texas?

This video is not for views, it’s to be obedient in sharing my faith publicly. I’ve gone through religious traumas whole life and my faith has definitely been shaking through tough situations but Jesus has always gotten me through everything. I love Jesus and I long to see a world where everybody knows what the love of Jesus feels like.

NOT religious acceptance, or being viewed as a good person but genuinely a connection to the creator of the universe who came and lived a perfect life. Was tortured beyond recognition, crucified on 2 slabs of wood, endured it for you and me.

There is nobody I would rather serve, love, worship than a God who cares deeply to come down to our level and want a relationship with us. Nothing can separate us from His love.
