'what is your therapy?'
They’re usually thinking of the gym or music.
But my peace is right here.
I love the quiet of an old cemetery.
No loud noises.
Just pure silence.
Growing up in the spiritual world thanks to my mom and step dad, the paranormal has always felt normal to me.
Where others get creeped out, I feel connected to the energy here.
It just naturally clicked with my love for Victorian goth vibes and black metal.
It’s dark, moody, and beautiful.

My top 3 Cemeteries so far

I’ve visited quite a few historic Cemeteries, but these three are absolute masterpieces for me. It’s not just about the history, but the vibe and the energy you feel when you walk through them.

• 1. Cimetière de Robermont (Liège)
The second I walked in here, I just felt this wave of mystery. The place is absolutely massive. Everywhere you look, for as far as your eyes can reach, there are graves. You honestly don't know where to look first. The ancient family tombs, the old monuments, and the overall energy of this place are just overwhelming.

• 2. Campo Santo (Ghent)
This place has a mysterious energy field around it that is honestly impossible to describe. It just feels deeply spiritual. The way the family tombs are built and how unique and old the graves are gives the entire cemetery a really heavy, sacred character.

• 3. Orthen Cemetery ('s-Hertogenbosch)
This one is very personal to me. It’s close to home and it was the first historic cemetery I ever really visited, so it will always have a special place in my heart. I love the layout and structure of the grounds. It’s just a beautiful, peaceful place to wander around, looking at the old graves and the statues.

Nordfriedhof Düsseldorf 🏛️✨
I was here recently and I’m still thinking about how beautiful it is.

It’s been around since 1884, and the scale of it is insane—it spreads out so wide it feels more like a massive, historic park than a graveyard.

Walking past those giant, mossy 19th-century family tombs under the old trees felt completely magical.

It’s crazy how peaceful a place this big can be. 🌿🖤

Discovered this breathtaking masterpiece,
"Das Wiedersehen" (The Reunion), at the historic Nordfriedhof in Düsseldorf.
Sculpted by Friedrich Coubillier around 1900, it marks a prominent family grave.
Instead of focusing on the pain of death, it captures a beautiful, raw moment of hope—a mother and son finally reunited in the afterlife, breaking free from the drapes of mortality while the souls below remain bound to the earth in grief.
Pure emotion carved into history. ✨
