Perfectly imperfect, and proud of it. ✨
At Devra, our decor has a past. Objects from the homes we left behind sit right alongside us, a little worn, a lot of character, and full of stories. Living with them is our kind of luxury.
Add fresh air, slow days, and a way of living built around sustainability, and you have a holiday that feels as good as it looks.

Once a week, I walk the lanes where art is a feast for the eyes.
This stop took me to the world of Udaipur miniature painting, where I spent time with the artist and his collection. Every fine brushstroke carries hours of patience, years of practice, and a passion handed down through generations.
This is why I source gifts straight from the artists themselves. When you know the hands behind the work and the story behind each piece, a gift becomes more than an object. It becomes a human connection you can truly relate to, and that is what makes it valuable. 🙏

💬 Have you ever brought home a piece of art that came with a story? Tell us in the comments.

🌿 Details that invite you to pause. 🍃
At Devra, it's the small things that set the pace: a quiet corner, the light through the leaves, the gentle rhythm of nature moving through the lush valleys around us. Here, there's nothing to rush toward, only something to slow down for. ✨
📍 Find your pause at Devra Udaipur.

Even in a year of scanty rain, nature's grace shows up.
This season's greenery, just before the final shedding of leaves, is not wasted at Devra. We return it to the earth as permaculture, and the effect on the soil is nothing short of magical. It feels right to give back what the land has given us.
Sustainable living isn't a trend here. It's a quiet, everyday practice of gratitude, one leaf at a time.

📍 Rooted in nature, growing with care at Devra Udaipur.

A home visit is always about connection. 🐾
It's the hosts who greet you like family, the pets who make themselves part of the welcome, and the meals shared around the table. These are the moments guests remember long after the trip ends, and they turn an ordinary travel routine into something warm, personal, and exciting.
At Devra, we believe the best journeys are measured in the people, the company, and the food you meet along the way.

There's tea, and then there's Indian chai. 🫖
It was never just a beverage. It's a whole production — the aroma of ginger and cardamom, the boil that can't be rushed, and a plate of crisp, spicy snacks that makes the first sip even better. 🌶️✨
At Devra, we serve chai the same dramatic way: hot, fragrant, and paired with snacks that make you want to settle in and stay a little longer. 🌿
