LB Futballers suited up as the Chargers tonight for Females In Flag, and even down to just six players because of schedule conflicts, these girls showed up BIG. ⚡️💙

Every single girl played both offense and defense, and they earned a 19–7 win through pure heart and hustle.

Touchdowns by Zoey, Devyn, and Sienna, with Margaret leading at QB, Maya with the key flag pulls and Birdie playing up a couple of age groups to join this squad. So proud of all six of these tough girls! 🏈 🙌🏽 taken in Costa Mesa, California by @devyn_n0elle

It was an honor to be invited by @usafootball to represent Team California 14U at Stars and States. Thank you for this incredible opportunity and an experience I will never forget.

A special thank you to Coach @jacob_ryan_lewis for your time, guidance, trust, and confidence in me to play the positions you put me in. I learned so much throughout the weekend.

Thank you to my teammates for competing alongside me until the final whistle. I enjoyed every minute spent with you all, both on and off the field, and I’m grateful for the memories we created together.

The gold medal game was one for the books. Down 0–6, we battled back to tie the game and force overtime. We stopped Florida on their first possession and then converted on ours to secure the win. Having Team California 16U and 18U cheering us on—and celebrating gold medal victories for all three California teams—made the moment even more special.

This was truly a once-in-a-lifetime experience and a memory I’ll cherish forever. 🏆🥇💙💛
