“We can only live moving forward, even though life is only understood looking backward.” My life has been moving forward so fast and I’m taking a moment to look back. I’ve been so grateful to the people and places I’ve experienced these past few months. From moving back to La Crosse for a few months to help coach football, to even just meeting new people at a new Walmart I work at. It’s all just completely different when I look back.

I am still looking forward to what the future holds but am going to take more time to appreciate what has happened already. Love everyone, love God, and keep a smile on your face no matter what is in front or behind you.

“There are two types of pain in life, one that hurts you, and one that changes you.” I feel like so far a lot has changed for me this year. But I’m keeping up with the punches and moving forward. Who would have thought that between all that life would be this amazing.

Got some amazing moments with some amazing people. From Countryfest (not calling it hoofbeat) to a bonfire to 4th of July with the fam. All making an impact and changing my life for the better. Love everyone here and can’t wait to see what the end of the year looks like.

“There is no path to happiness, happiness is the path.”

Been an eventful few months to start this year and I’m just rolling with what it’s throwing. Been ups and downs but through it all I’ve always had the best support with my friends and family and God. I am not done growing and my life is not done living. So day by day I go by it and keep taking it step by step. Posting about those people and what I’ve been up to.

For anyone that needs it, if you feel alone in a room full of people. I know how that feels. I will always be that person for you. Reach out and people will listen, if they don’t then they aren’t your true people.

“You learn more about something or someone, at the end of it, then you do at the beginning.”

I can’t believe I can say this but I am now a graduate, an uncle to not 1 not 2 but soon to be 3 nephews, a best friend, a homeboy, a son, a brother, and everything in between. This year has taught me so much about myself and I’ve grown into such a man that I can confidently say. My Grandpa would be so proud of me. From finding and keeping some of the best friends in the world and being at an all time high. To having stress, anxiety, fear, depression, and have it all bottle up then burst out after losing one of the most important people in my life. An all time low. Then seeing my second nephew and the happiest little boy in Cayson to pull me right back on track and remember why I’m still here. I would not be here today without my family, my friends, my siblings, and everyone who has taught me or will be teaching me what I know.

To end it. Thank you 2025 for getting me closer with god, family, friends, and everyone else. Thank you for getting me to graduation and taking that next life step. Thank you for being the best year of growth both physically and mentally. But also screw you for taking my peace away at times and giving me the hardest 2 weeks in my life and not holding back those punches that I needed to get hit with.

Man I don’t even know what to say or how to start. I guess by saying the final words we spoke to each other. “Love you, and goodnight.” So many emotions and so many memories just flood in when I think about you and how much you mean to not only me but our family. We all lost you Monday November 17th 2025. Then we all said our final goodbyes on Saturday November 29th 2025. I don’t know how to describe the person you were in my life. If my dad is my hero, and you were his hero, then you were my super hero. Taught me how to fish, how to love and put people before yourself, how to be there for everyone even when I’m not at 100%. I just wish I could have spent the rest of my life with you, but instead you spent the rest of your life with me.

Never regret the time or experience you have with people. Even if you fall off.

Got me started on Oktoberfest. What an amazing year for Oktoberfest. Had some first timers with my friends, had a great time with my nephew at the parade (and my sister and brother in law of course), also even drank a little bit. Just a little. Can’t wait until next year.
