Something told me the two rabbits I’ve seen out front were having a party in the back. Here’s one of their [cute] babies; I spotted three. I must have spooked them when I was watering out back this morning. 🐰

The weather is looking picture perfect for cooking and eating out back. But first, the sounds of nature and a glass of bubbly. Cheers! 🍾🥂🤘🏾

I had a good time chatting [virtually] with Tim Slater, owner and winemaker of Sarah’s Vineyard, and the Pink-Party crew last night for lucky #93. Sarah’s Vineyard winery and tasting room is located in Gilroy, CA, a small city widely recognized as the garlic capitol of the world. Tim’s @SarahsVineyard 2019 Estate Chardonnay is produced from original 1979 plantings. In the mouth, it’s round with lovely texture; yet fresh and incredibly well-balanced with a generous jolt of acidity throughout. There are flavors of crisp apple, spiced pear tart, stone fruit, ending in a long, lingering finish touched with a hint of orange zest. A wonderful wine for the dinner table and more! 👉🏾 sarahsvineyard.com

Clearing wooded land for yet another housing development has drove wildlife into the neighborhood. Meet a few of our new neighbors: Red fox parents and their [cute] pups! 🦊

Celebrated Easter and #MalbecWorldDay with a generous splash of @AntigalWinery 2018 Uno #Malbec. Inviting aromas of darker berries; the palate is round and juicy, nicely textured; supple tannins; there’s flavors of plum and pomegranate accented by hints of violet and spice with a delightful, fresh finish. This #wine offers great value for money (SRP $15) and is an excellent bottle to have on hand at your next backyard barbecue. 🍷👍🏽

What a beautiful day for a picnic! Enjoyed a beet salad, fine nibbles, and a big a$$ chocolate chip cookie—aka a balanced meal.

Nature's Serenade: A fish crow that wouldn’t stop singing [cawing] despite me striking the gong three times.

Another thought—maybe the old crow was giving me and my classic rock tunes the GONG (lol)!

Look, up in the sky! It's a bird, it's a plane, it's Superman!

The first answer is correct. The cute little Downy Woodpecker is looking up at a slightly larger Red-bellied Woodpecker, who is about to swoop down and chase him off of the suet basket. Mr. Red-bellied—at least the one out back—prefers a table for one, you see. #lol

Each of us knows the phrase, “An apple a day keeps the doctor away.” This seasonal selection from @LostBoyCider is made from Shenandoah apples co-fermented to dryness with cherries and Jasmine blossoms. A great combination of flavors; crisp and juicy in the mouth—a really versatile #cider! Following doc’s orders made easy. 👍🏽🍎
