i went back & forth on how to make this post. i still have a hard time finding the right words to explain how i feel. and it’s still hard for me to articulate what happened. i will say, grief really defies time. because it feels like it’s been forever without my dad, and yet this feels like the fastest year ever.

dad, i miss your physical presence, and your pure love. you always told me how lucky you were to have me as your daughter (you said that to all your kids), but really, we were the ones who were so lucky to have you as our dad. the love you had for your family was enough to make any and everybody feel special 🤍 yesterday was just 1 year down, and i know i still have a lifetime to go. it’s hard as hell not having you here. being the loudest and biggest personality in every room lol ❤️‍🩹 but i’m extremely thankful that you knew God. He saw you through a blessed life, and because you were so God-fearing, i know where you are now🙏🏾♾️
