So humbled by the Grace of God and the work he’s doing in my son, Praise. 🕊️🙌If you want to understand the Enemy’s tactics, CS Lewis’s Screwtape Letters is a series of letters written from a senior demon named Screwtape to his inexperienced nephew Wormwood.
Instead of teaching goodness, Screwtape teaches Wormwood how to tempt and spiritually weaken a human man, “the patient.”
Subtle temptations, distractions, pride, fear, comfort, and self-centeredness pull us away from seeing Truth, and turning to God. by @dezorahernandez

We will miss you Gramma. When the shadows of this life have grown,
I’ll fly away.
Like a bird from prison bars has flown,
I’ll fly away.
Just a few more weary days and then,
I’ll fly away.
“So we do not lose heart. Though our outer self is wasting away, our inner self is being renewed day by day.
For this light momentary affliction is preparing for us an eternal weight of glory beyond all comparison,
as we look not to the things that are seen but to the things that are unseen. For the things that are seen are transient, but the things that are unseen are eternal.” 2 Corinthians 4:16-18 by @dezorahernandez

Dear Gramma Jan,
You were a constant, solid foundation in my life. A woman of strength and dignity, witty, ornery at times, squishy and cuddly. A true Alaskan, with plaid yet pearl, and burgundy nails. A hunter, builder, artist, baker and business owner. Your hands planted seeds that guided my path in the way I should go, from the disciplines of Sunday school and dinnertime prayers, thanking God for his provision, to a summer of being grounded chopping wood, your efforts live on. Built with your hands, our log cabin at the end of Mosquito Lake road, stood as a comfort, a place of refuge. I pray we preserve your legacy, remember your perseverance, and live a life worthy of the sacrifice you made for us.
I’m forever grateful for you gramma, and thank God He allowed me to hold your hand as you passed from this temporary earth to eternity with Jesus. 5.21.26. I love you. See you soon.
