Class of 2027 Gabe White is one of our most talented and most uplifting athletes. Always wanting to work and always doing it with a smile on his face. Big things are ahead for him, and we can’t wait to watch and see what he does at the next level📈 by @dfam_adventures

Our sport-specific performance training is designed to target the movements you’ll see in real games! This allows our drills to translate into real life, as they’re getting stronger, faster and more explosive in ways you’ll see on the court or field!📈 by @dfam_adventures

My farewell ride at Erwin Park in McKinney, TX on August 9th. Gasping for air, heart rate pegged out in the red zone, old enough to know I’m old… Knowing this was my last ride, I was giving it the beans as we used to say back in the 1900s. I was either going out on this farewell run with a PR or in an ambulance, but I refused to go quietly as you can see toward the end.

I have been sitting on this footage for a month now, and I just haven’t been able to motivate my heart to download it off the camera. Erwin Park will be closed for the next 12-18 months so the city can make “improvements”. This is eerily similar to how my other home trail in Frisco closed almost 2 years ago just after we completed my son’s Eagle Scout Project there. When the city comes to help, it sure seems like we lose a lot of nature “for the greater good and cleaner bathrooms”.

It’s not just a trail, it’s a real connection to nature. For myself, and many others like me who carry the weight of the world, this is our dirt therapy. This is where we get away to clear our thoughts, silence our demons and heal our souls. I don’t care how much the world’s problems are crowding your mind, once you are flying down a trail on the edge of control in between trees, your mind stops worrying about all the external problems and pressures, and instead focuses on staying alive in this very moment happening right now. The freedom comes from being forced into a state of intense focus. You are once again for a moment just that boy on a bike, and you are free.

And that is why natural trail preservation is so important to so many of us.

Bigger than Basketball. These girls have a remarkable chemistry that is noticeable both on and off the court. It has been a privilege to capture their journey this season all the way through the finals in Orlando last week. You gotta enjoy it while it lasts.
