We won an award! Our pilot, BATSHIT, starring @marisa.coughlan made its festival premiere at @seriesfest in Denver, Colorado. @bricebeckham and @dfickas took home the award for Best Writing in an Independent Comedy Pilot. The festival was amazing and we were honored to be honored. We also met a ton of fun new LA friends and decided to put together an encore screening of our collective works. We would love to see you all Wednesday evening at The Broadwater Main Stage (@thebroadwaterla) for a SeriesFest Encore in LA (not affiliated with SeriesFest). We are showing 4 projects on the big screen: Aptitude - Step-Friend - Batshit - Soft Boil. $5 suggested donation. Link in bio! by @dfickas

Here is a trailer for our pilot BATSHIT starring @marisa.coughlan. It will be making its debut at @seriesfest in early May. I couldn’t be more proud of this project, not just because it is ridiculously silly but also because it brought together an incredible @drama34prod team both on screen and off. This is also the project that brought me into the @directorsguild which I am forever grateful for, especially to DGA champion and First AD extraordinaire @johnny_ballgame28. And, of course, none of this stuff would ever happen without my Drama 3/4 writing, producing and editing partner @bricebeckham. Here’s to more Batshit crazy adventures! The idea was always to take shows to #EdFringe but after Cameron, Paulo, Julia (@roleplaysoloshow team) and I saw @hardloveplay in Scotland, we quickly invited them to come to Los Angeles and bring their show to @thebroadwaterla for a limited run. My apartment is now filled with talented actors and an amazing director. That starts this week!! Link in bio. And use discount code ROLEPLAY. Come see and meet @miraybeslicapa @chandlerstephenson and @cihangirduman and support LA Theatre. taken in The Broadwater by @dfickas

It starts as a drunken hookup and spirals into a funny yet deeply intimate clash of desire, fantasy and identity when stars Miray Beşli and Chandler Stephenson struggle to connect physically and unravel emotionally. With razor-sharp dialogue and electric choreography, HardLove dives headfirst into what lies beyond lust. Drama 3/4 Productions is proud to present the LA premiere of HardLove. 6 nights only at the Broadwater Black Box, April 8-18. See it while you can! by @dfickas

Last summer, Drama 3/4 was at Edinburgh Fringe with Cameron Murphy’s solo show, Role Play (winner of Best of the Broadwater at Hollywood Fringe 2024). It was in Scotland that we met Miray, Chandler and Jee, and saw their show, HARDLOVE. Based on a Turkish play and originally produced in New York, HARDLOVE is a modern-day Frankie and Johnny with some very sharp edges. It seemed a kind of companion piece to Role Play and we all found ourselves taking in the festival together. After a few shows and a few drinks came the inevitable, “You should bring HardLove to LA!” …And now, here we are! HARDLOVE previews at The Broadwater Black Box on April 8 and runs for 6 nights through April 18. The LA theatre scene keeps grinding out some great shows, and we know this show will be an exciting addition. Drama 3/4 is thrilled to bring you HARDLOVE at the Broadwater! DM us for a discount code!
