THE BIG 50!!!!

On Saturday, I will be spending my 50th birthday at UIDM Big Event dancing, celebrating, and cheering on @erinmuntz and all of Iowa students who are participating in The University of Iowa Dance Marathon, a student organization that provides year-round support to youth cancer patients and their families.

KIDS DESERVE THE CHANCE TO
CELEBRATE TOMORROW!!!

The Big Event is a 24-hour Dance Marathon where students assemble to celebrate the children survivors and remember the children who have passed away throughout the year.

The University of Iowa Dance Marathon is the largest student-led philanthropy and student organization on campus at the University of Iowa. UIDM is one of the founding five Dance Marathon programs and the 4th largest Children’s Miracle Network Dance Marathon across the nation and provides financial and emotional support to pediatric cancer patients and their families on Level 11 of the UI Stead Family Children’s Hospital. The organization is a year-long commitment consisting of family events for kids to be kids, dancer events for individuals to build connections within our organization, and fundraising so we can eliminate some of the financial burdens that come with a pediatric cancer diagnosis. taken in University of Iowa Dance Marathon by @dfive14

The day has finally come, @erinmuntz is dancing her last AOD recital. 16 years of dance, went by way too fast!
