Consider giving it a second life through The Bella Project! We’re seeking contemporary formalwear in all colors, lengths and sizes that is clean, in excellent condition, and ready to wear. 💖 No dress to donate? You can still help! When I decided to commit to my business full-time in 2022, I realized a lot of my clothing was no longer practical for the work I was doing and didn’t fit my personal style. I used to feel my most confident in heels. Now, I unapologetically live in sneakers and slip-ons. I used to wear blouses and slacks on a regular basis. Now, I love dressing up or down athleisure. I used to need large purses to carry my things to the office. Now, it’s a fanny pack or crossbody for me most days so I can be hands-free. I recognize that being able to update my clothes to better suit my lifestyle is a privilege, and it has helped me to step into this current chapter of my career. This doesn’t mean I’ve completely overhauled my closet, but it does mean that I’ve chosen to let go of items that I no longer feel comfortable or confident in to make more space for ones that do. It’s been a gradual process and yes, sometimes I still feel guilty when I realize I haven’t worn an item as much as I thought I would have. But knowing that my investment will help another woman feel more confident as she walks into an interview or starts the first day of her new job, makes it just a bit easier to let go. Here is a general list of ACCEPTABLE ITEMS to donate to Dress for Success® Honolulu: - Professional clothing - Industry wear (e.g. medical scrubs, non-slip shoes, solid black tops) - Business casual clothing - Shoes - Bags & accessories - Brand new, unexpired, wrapped & sealed cosmetics & toiletries - Monetary donations - Gift cards to Macy’s, Ross, TJ Maxx, Target, and Visa gift cards 
Donations are accepted Monday through Friday, from 7:00 a.m.- 5:00 p.m. (excludes state and federal holidays). Now go declutter your closet!
