My cousin, Isidoor, is an Industrial Design graduate from TU/e, where the degree focus is on Design of Systems with Emerging Technologies in a Societal Context.

His project is one of five nominated for the Social Design Talent Awards 2026, the winning prize is €10,000 to realize the project. A professional jury assesses the entries; but residents and entrepreneurs can also vote.

Isidoor has been working with persons who are homeless or unhoused to improve the walk-in centre, aiming to create a space informed by the needs and insights of the users and reducing the stigma that is associated with these spaces and services.

Please vote for him and share this post! Our engagement with projects and competitions like this is so important. This is more than just liking a post (keyboard warrior style), we have an opportunity to support young people taking on meaningful projects and signaling to governments and organisations that we value these types of investment and want to see more action like this.

Very interesting difference from an arabica. Far more going on in the mouth. Works best as a cold sweet coffee but works also well as an iced filter. Have not got the hot brew working yet. #robustacoffee from @girlswhogrindcoffee by @dgalbuk
