The TONOGRAF EQs have landed!
Based upon the über rare TAB W95c from the 60's, it's a germanium EQ that behaves like a tube EQ, handmade by @atomicanalog in Iceland.
It's going to be featured in every mix / master I do from now on 😄
Thank you Vinny! taken in Toulouse, France by @dgn_studio

Acoustics play a huge role when mixing in smaller rooms, and an even greater role when recording.

That's why the mix room is fully treated, and the speakers properly calibrated.

But every mix gets thoroughly checked with high quality headphones to take the room out of the equation, just to be sure 😌

@beesneez_pro_audio is an Australian microphone manufacturer that's family owned and operated, and they're one of the very few that make everything that goes into a great microphone, from the body to the circuit and even the most important part : the capsule.

Their sound is truly marvellous, and are very reliable to get a great sound.

Pictured here is their Bu87, a condenser inspired by 70's Neumann U87.
