Had a great time watching Ethan and Haltom face John and Smithfield on Tuesday! One of my favorite parts of youth ministry is supporting kids in their extracurricular activities. Didn’t get a chance to get a pic with John, but Ethan’s brother Evan wanted to jump in a picture as well. by @dhalk77

The heroes of youth ministry are volunteer leaders like these adults from our Hills Dallas campus who give up time on Sundays and even some Wednesdays after work to help youth know Jesus. Even without a youth minister onsite at their campus they ensure kids are cared for, and taught the word. They also faithfully help me dream and pray for the Lord to continue to build the youth ministry in Dallas. taken in Dallas, Texas by @dhalk77

Homecoming Weekend! I got a chance to go watch Macee cheer and Tiff coach at the pep rally today. Brought back good memories of my pep rallies back in the day at Huntsville High. Proud of both of them and how much dedication they give to cheer. by @dhalk77

Thanks to everyone who came out to the Alejandro Osuna signing. He was such a pleasure to work with and blessed me to see the smiling kids faces who got to meet their favorite player. Thanks also to my friends who help me on these signings, I couldn’t do it without y’all. Thanks also to Ethan from Beckett and Britt from Autographs Ink who let us use his shop. Many of our signings are private but it has been cool doing some of the public events and getting to see the fans come out. We do have multiple Bowman 1sts, 2025 Topps, 8x10 photos and a few balls available. #texasrangers taken in Autographs Ink by @dhalk77

Great visit to my alma mater. Got to see my oldest girl, see old friends, hear what the Lord is doing in the lives of the young men of BYX at SHSU and watch the Bearkats win big. Great night and now to drive home and get up early for church! taken in Huntsville, Texas by @dhalk77

Started a tradition with @zacharyhartman63 last year to meet up for a bros weekend at the @fanexpodallas every year. So Friday, Saturday, and a few hours today after attending church at the Dallas Campus; Zach and I got to stretch our inner nerd muscles and add to our autograph and memorabilia collections. Also one of my biggest joys of the convention was connecting with my super close childhood friend @phillipandrewofficial who was on Power Rangers Wild Force.

I got a chance to meet:
Charlie Sheen
Keifer Sutherland
Emilio Estevez
Dermot Mulroney
Casey Siemaszko (3-D Back to the Future)
Alex Winter (Bill and Ted’s Excellent Adventure)
Henry Winkler (Fonz)
Catherine Bell (Jag)
Denise Richards
Sam Raimi (Director of Spider-Man)
Mel Gibson
Voice actor Jim Cummings (Pooh)
Matthew Wood, a.k.a. General Greivous
C. Thomas Howell
Sean Astin
Dean Norris (Breaking Bad, Lethal Weapon 2) by @dhalk77

A day of rain could not stop the fun…

* Brunch at Brightside California Kitchen
* Shopping at Alo with the girls
* A little detour to nerd out and get a photo in front of the apartments Daniel LaRusso lived at in the first Karate Kid movie.
* A trip down to Hollywood for lunch at Mel’s Diner and the Walk of Fame
* A walk at the beach and the Santa Monica Pier
* Dinner at Blue Plate Taco taken in Santa Monica, California by @dhalk77

I’ve had a great few days in California with three autograph signings with some guys who played in the 70s, 80s and 90s, attending a Padres and Dodgers game and having my family join me for a few days in Santa Monica with more fun to come over the next two days.

It pains me to wear Dodgers gear but not trying to get jumped in LA. Although Freddie Freeman is easy to cheer for; he is a hall of fame player and guy. Even ran into some Argyle friends at the game. taken in Santa Monica, California by @dhalk77
