Around a year ago, I was invited from my university to participate in creating poster to commemorate Mehmet Âkif Ersoy & Independence March. 12 March is a significant date for Türkiye since it honors their beloved poet & take a pride of one’s national identity

My big idea is although the national anthem was created by the poet, that same anthem creates identity for the whole nation, including the poet. This idea creates loop that feedbacks one another. Thus making me to work with typographic-based artwork that plays with the font’s weight to draw the poet (Font is Karla. It’s free to use from Google Fonts)

Although I missed the exhibition, I am still proud on what i made & i hope i contribute very well to this country with this piece of artwork

even thought i "lost", this is one of my winning moments in my life (ESSAY CAPTION INCOMING LOL)

Ever since i watched Red Bull Dance Your Style 2025 Final, i was hooked and set my goal to be on the final stage amongst all of 15 other dancers. Bcs of that, i started to dance professionaly 3 MONTHS AGO. (Yep. You heard that rlght. 3. MONTHS. AGO. All bcs of me watching random The Crown clips on TikTok Lol)

So at @edfturkeydancefest, they held a Dance Your Style event which is not the same as the usual but it's official from Red Bull. But knowing through extensive research that you need to have Permanent Residence Permit to enter, i was kinda sad that i had to wait untill I'm in Indonesia to be able to compete in this event

...or so i thought bcs someone told me that "You just need to be 18 and above that's all". Since then, in Prequalification, I tried to dance amongst tens of professional dancers that had years of experience than me but all i do is to let my self shine and bring that joy to others, which is one of the reasons why i want to enter Dance Your Style

Lo and behold, i passed the prequalifier round and made it into Top 8. That was ENOUGH for me. From that point on, i don't care if i win or lose because I'm already grateful enough to enter the Top 8

Now all i need to do is to train harder to win Red Bull Dance Your Style National Final in Indonesia🇲🇨🇲🇨🇲🇨

shout out yo @artin_m.m for beating me fair and square, @osmanaltindg for recording my round & @akayustunel for the Co-Sign me and getting me through the Top 8. Big thanks from the bottom of my heart to all of you.

Aight i should get some sleep. I have class this morning by @dhalquindo
