My "50 Days of Quotes" campaign was a total flop. 🤦‍♂️ And it was 100% my fault.

I broke three cardinal rules of social media:

I made my audience leave the app to get the content. (Bad UX!)

I tried to fight the platform algorithms. (They always win.)

I made new followers feel like they were too late to the party.

The big lesson? Provide NATIVE VALUE. Don't make people hunt for your content. Give it to them right here, right now.

Your commercial demo should showcase your range, not just the work you’ve booked. 🎙️

Even if you have years of experience, your spots might sound too similar. And when casting directors are looking for something more conversational or a different style, you want your demo to show them what you can do.

In voiceover, following submission directions isn’t optional. It’s part of the audition. 🎙️

If they say email this person, use this subject line, send a link instead of an attachment, or name your file a certain way… do it exactly as instructed.

Don’t get cute. Don’t get creative.
Because the moment you ignore directions, the only thing casting learns is that you can’t take direction. And that’s a fast trip to the digital circular file. 🗑️
