The best kind of long weekend — celebrating my dad with the whole family!

We kicked things off exploring San Francisco, taking in the city before heading north. We stopped at Muir Woods for my first visit to see the redwoods that are hundreds of years old — some estimated to be 500–700+ years old. Photos simply don’t do these towering gems justice.

From there, we made our way into Sonoma Wine Country, where the rest of the family joined us for a couple days of wine tasting, hiking, eating a little too much & making family memories.

A morning in Malmö, Sweden; less than an hour from Copenhagen it was an easy way to explore another country.

We decided to maximize the experience—and the views—by taking the bus from Copenhagen to Malmö and the train back, giving us two different perspectives as we crossed the Øresund Bridge that connects Denmark and Sweden.

Sweden’s 3rd largest city, what stood out about Malmö was just how green and beautiful it is. Lush lawns, lots of trees, flowers, and walking paths fill the city’s parks.

Berlin, Germany 🇩🇪

From walking through the Brandenburg Gate and along remnants of the Berlin Wall to seeing Checkpoint Charlie, the Reichstag, and the powerful memorials that tell the story of WWII and the Cold War, Berlin is a walking history tour.

I love how Berlin thrives despite its grime past; historic landmarks alongside modern architecture, great food (your girl loves a good brat), and an energy all its own.

Copenhagen, you were everything I hoped for 🇩🇰✨ From the colorful waterfront of Nyhavn and beautiful Danish architecture to walking along the canals, discovering charming neighborhoods, and eating our way through some incredible Copenhagen restaurants and food markets, enjoying beautiful sunsets, this city is so easy to fall in love with.

Brasserie Margot @brasseriemargotatl might just be one of the best date night dining experiences in Atlanta right now. From the moment you walk in, the atmosphere feels elegant; warm lighting, beautiful design, and the kind of place that makes you want to linger over dinner and wine.

If there’s French onion soup on a menu I’ll always try it & this was easily the best I’ve had in Atlanta. Rich, savory, perfectly balanced with just the right amount of cheese. We went for their signature tomahawk steak which was cooked to perfection & so flavorful.

A huge shoutout to Charlie for taking such great care of us and making the experience even more memorable.

Dinner at The Consulate never disappoints 💗

Their Visa Menu—a rotating culinary passport that spotlights a different country every 3 months. Right now, Jamaica, and every dish & drink brings has the spice & flavors of the island.

Then there’s the Residents Menu—a curated collection of the best dishes they’ve featured on past visa menus. Everything we had was exceptional, but the lamb ribs from the past Ethiopian menu are hands down my favorite.

We love it so much we booked our next reservation the night their next destination iVietnam 🇻🇳 launches.

Spent the afternoon at the Atlanta Botanical Garden for a day date.

The garden is just starting to wake up and the tulips are in full bloom right now. Everywhere you turn there are bright pops of color; I can’t decide if the purple or the pink/white are my favorite.

2025 felt like a long one—but when I look back, it’s full of memories.

Travel continues to fuel my soul, and getting to share Europe—France and Switzerland—with my guy was truly special. Add in first-time adventures to Barcelona, Niagara Falls, Toronto, and Philly, plus return trips to Hawaii and Chi-Town.

Work carried me across the globe too (yes, even to China), reminding me how grateful I am for a career that continues to challenge and inspire me.

Tired? Absolutely.
Thankful? Always.
