Blowy day out on the big pond on Saturday for the @rah_fish @gbayteamseries Q2 event out of beautiful Pointe au Baril. Super tough bite for us but we managed to find enough active #fish to eek out a 3rd place finish by a narrow margin of .04lbs😬😰 As always though, someone figured them out, so big congrats to @camdenconnerfishing and his partner @ry.biggsfishing on putting together the winning bag of over 25.5lbs🔥🙌
Next stop: August 8, Parry Sound, going out of Kilbear Marina

WHAT an event! Crazy weather leading up to our second qualifier out of Pointe Au Baril! A 1 hour blast off delay proved to be exactly what we needed!

Camden and Ryan got it done in GBay 6 footers! A well deserved W! Shoutout to all the anglers who endured a week of uncertainty 👊🏼. We got it done boys!

Huge thank you to @napoleonproducts for providing our 1st place winners with a new grill! And @gbayfishingco for providing 2nd place winners with @daiwacanada rods and reels. Our friends @sidelaunch stepped up again, keeping our top 4 stocked up!

The @theperfectjig Big fish - a 5.66 beast caught by Bill and Kal. Currently our big fish of the season!

Parry Sound incoming! Saturday Aug 8th out of Kill Bear Marina for our 3rd and final qualifier of the 2026 season! See you there!!

Such a blast fishing the inaugural @gbaybassclassic yesterday out of @bigsoundmarina in Parry Sound. Cruising in the @leadbetterfoods #MeatMissile🚀 @jasonforsyth84 @spreadinmayo and I sacked up a 24.44 lb bag of Georgian Bay #smallmouthbass, anchored by a 6.22lb G-Bay giant to pick up the win and #bigfish honours against a field of 25 other boats.

This is a fun, laid back event that allows up to 4 anglers on a team, offering a great opportunity for anglers new to tournament #fishing to dip their toe in the water🎣👍 Even better, the tournament proceeds are split between a prize pool and various local charities/mental health initiatives in the Parry Sound area👏👌

Thank you @dylanandersn @serenafelsman @barbour.brennan @sonya.felsman and their team of volunteers for their hard work keeping this event running (after an awesome 7 year run as the #DocRobBassClassic)🙌🙌 Also, shout out to all of the event sponsors for their support and to @georgianbayglass for the awesome trophies🙌

Sure felt great getting back to biz in the @leadbetterfoods #meatmissile with @jasonforsyth84 last weekend for Q1 of the 2026 @rah_fish @gbayteamseries out of Penetanguishene.

Didn’t get the W (congrats to Bill and Kalle on yet another mega-bag🙌🤯) but managed to catch 5 good ones on a day where the bite was tough and took home 2nd place with 23.6lbs.
Shooting all the praise to #timboslice @tim_hine, @sandra.hine and the whole #rahcrew for running another awesome event…slick as grease from start to finish🙌👏

Looking forward to Q2 on July 18 out of Pointe Au Baril at the town dock🎣😎

It felt great to get the 2026 season started and it did not disappoint! Giant bags right out of the gates this year! Bill Walker and Kal Vaisanen took the W with 25.28lbs and a 5.64lb kicker! Congrats fellas! We had the pleasure of speaking to a ton of people on shore throughout the day. They couldn’t get enough Rah!

Next stop - July 18th : Pointe Au Baril
