Music has no boundaries 🇮🇳🤝🇵🇰🎶

An Indian who doesn’t speak Hindi meets a Pakistani who knows every Hindi song 😂

We’d just met on a hiking trail and randomly started singing together. Different countries, different stories, but a few songs were all it took to bond.

Now be honest… who did it better? 👀👇

Wait till the end… how did a protein pizza and interview prep turn into getting home at 4:30 am? 😭😂

a day in the life of a single guy in Toronto 🇨🇦

started with the gym, made a homemade protein pizza, headed to a shoot, squeezed in a movie and sat down to prepare for my interviews. honestly, a pretty productive day. could’ve called it there.

but apparently we had a second itinerary 💀

headed out to meet my friends for a sauna session… and somehow we ended up dancing in the sauna. came for the wellness, stayed for the party 😂 then straight into the city for Nuit Blanche, checking out art installations before the night turned into even more dancing and a 4am return home.

somewhere between hitting my protein goals and partying until morning, this became a very accurate representation of my life right now. trying to build a career, stay in shape, make things, meet people and still have stories to tell beyond “yeah, work was busy.”

being single in your 30s has its quiet moments, but it also has days like this. doing your own thing, saying yes to plans and seeing where the night takes you.

a workout, a shoot, a little preparation for the future and a very enthusiastic commitment to the present. Toronto really delivered on this side quest. 🪩

anyone else’s “productive day” turn into a 4am side quest? 😂🪩

Toronto side quests are getting out of hand 😂🛼🔊

Last night somehow turned into a full-on skate rave through the city with @rollingthe6ix — everyone pulling up with skates, lights and their own speakers, all synced to the same station so the entire group was moving through Toronto to the exact same music. We started around Exhibition Place, rolled through downtown with the city lit up around us, and made our way all the way to STACKT market. There’s something unreal about looking around and seeing a whole street full of people skating, dancing and vibing together while the same beat is coming from every direction. I’ve lived in Toronto long enough to think I know what this city has to offer, and then nights like this randomly show up 😂 Easily one of the coolest ways I’ve experienced downtown. Toronto really does have a side quest for everything. 🏙️🛼✨

Today, I had a chance to speak to my 2016 self!

Life rarely goes the way we imagined it would.

Some plans work out. Some fall apart. Some dreams take longer than expected, and some lead us somewhere completely different.

We spend so much time thinking there will be a point where everything finally makes sense : the right job, the right person, enough money, the right city, the right timing.

But life doesn’t really work like that.

Most of the time, we’re just moving forward without knowing exactly where it’s all leading.

And maybe that’s okay.

Because if you look back far enough, there was probably a version of you who had no idea how they were going to get through what was in front of them.

But they did.

And so did you.

Maybe the lesson isn’t to have everything figured out.

Maybe it’s to keep some of that hope you had before there was any proof.

Keep going.

You’ve made it this far.
