"Is It Okay?" One question became many. From a question I keep asking myself, to many I couldn't leave unasked. . . . . . . . . . . . . . #poem #poetry #writing #write #writer by @di.write
"Why Not Me" This poem is about feeling unseen, aobout feeling that 'you are starting to fade away' in a place you want to be seen in. not being jealous of anyone else's success, but keep wondering when it will be my turn. It's about trying, crying, writing, hoping, and carrying a dream so tightly while feeling like you are slowly fading in the background. "God, life, and the old me" are the three I'm asking not to let me fade away just like that. Maybe one day, "Why not me?" will finally have an answer. . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .. #poem #poetry #whynotme #writing by @di.write
(You Don't Know Me) I forget names, faces, plots, and endings far more easily than I forget feelings. I don't remember what inspired this poem. It might have been a movie, a song, a novel, or a story I came across once. The details disappeared somewhere along the way, but the emotion stayed. I've never lived this story myself, yet I seem to collect feelings that aren't mine and carry them around until they become poems. So while I can't tell you where this poem came from, I can tell you exactly how it felt. by @di.write

Enough November 5, 2025. A poem about the voice inside your head that insists you are never enough. No matter how hard you fight, how much you endure, or how many times you try to rise after falling again and again,it continues to whisper that none of it counts, it still feels like nothing. by @di.write

Bombing, death, thirst, lost Life has been like this for more than 300 days 🍉 tents become a luxury, and roads of leaky drains are the normal You don't know if you survived or the one who's gone did by @di.write
'Thirst' – a poem I'm writing recently, inspired by my sister's drawing. Together, our words and art attempt to reflect some of the harsh realities we live in 🍉. ⬇️⬇️⬇️ [She hears whispers "She looks kind How would her mind come to realize this genocid " She is looking behind Hundreds of eyes watching in the shade She feels her throat as if there was a cruel blade Her daydream died No home, no mom, no warming arms Tents, thirst, death, only harms Everything she dreamed of fades Waking up in thirsty raids She runs with a plea To an anonymous man Asking, "Any water for me?" Ignoring her, everyone starts to flee A bomb has been set free] I'll be posting the full poem soon 🫶🏻 #gaza #writer #write #gazagenocide #war #childhood #art #palestine #poetry by @di.write
