In honor of Autism Awareness Month🧩✨
Nobody is prepared for what’s to come and every child’s journey is different. I myself would get lost in it all sometimes. People fail to realize how much hard work and dedication it really takes to show up and do everything you can to ensure your child thrives and be their voice in a world with such lack of knowledge towards the diversity of ASD and all of curveballs that come with it. Leo & I have had a full time schedule of Speech Therapy, OT, ABA, & Feeding. We’ve been doing this since 18 m/o so always being on the go has been the norm for us for a while now. I honestly feel lucky that we were able to get all of the early intervention that we have. Early intervention is soooo important‼️ Leonardo is so brilliant and continues to show me he’s capable of anything 🥹 I am so grateful for the team he’s had through it all and overall SO proud of the duo that my son & I are. S/o to all the Autism mamas 🫶🏻 I see yall✨

My heart hurts from what’s going on. It’s truly sickening. But I am proud to see mi gente unite and show how strong we are together 🤎 The best way I know how to express is through art so here’s something I been working on✊🏼
