LUMEN: A Night of Monstrous Drag, Darkness & Transformation

Prepare for a battle of the bold, the bizarre, and the beautifully grotesque at MX Daemōn 2025—Michigan’s first National Monster Xtreme preliminary. Inspired by the boundary-breaking horror and artistry of The Boulet Brothers’ Dragula, this competition pushes alt, horror, and monster drag to its absolute limits.

With the LUMEN theme illuminating visibility, power, and transformation, this is more than a pageant—it’s a ritual, a reckoning, and a resurrection. Who will rise from the darkness and claim the crown?

🖤 Witness the mayhem May 17, 2025, in Lansing, MI. #MxDaemon #LUMEN #MonsterDrag taken in REO Town Marketplace by @dia.elektra
