saved my best senior sunday post for last 🫂💕 #dlewsigningout

This moment always felt so far but now that I’m here I feel overwhelmed with emotions as I look over all the memories I’ve made throughout these 4 years, and it feels unreal that it’s come to an end. After stepping off the track saturday i realized I never imagined loving track as much as I do, but this sport has shaped me into who I am and I couldn’t imagine my life without it. I’m so thankful for everyone I met along the way, all the prayers I’ve received, and the happiness this sport brings me. I’ve made lifetime bonds that I will always cherish. Where we had hard workouts we thought we’d never get through but we got through & every bus ride where we cried over memories, slept, laughed, vented or guided each other through high school which made every hard workout worth it ! Track was my biggest motivation throughout high school constantly pushing me past my limits and seeing in me what I couldn’t see in myself. I’m so blessed to have a team that makes saying goodbye this hard. Without my coaches, family, and teammates I wouldn’t have made this far. It doesn’t end here & I’m so excited to see what my future holds.
