This week, we read my pilot with the @fishandscripts family. I am not going to even attempt to describe the joy and gratitude I experienced being in a room full of people I love and watching them be STRESSED OUT by the twist and turns in my story.

My baby Zorah had to plead the the blood of Jesus at least 5 times and ask me if I'm crazy.... and yeah that's what I was going for.

Thank you Shannan @theprofessionalpen for taking me from someone who had no idea that screenwriting was even a possibility years ago to this moment.

Thank you @mrcarltonlee for allllllllllll of your guidance, patience, honesty that helped me refine my story and get it down on paper.

Til next time... by @diamond_the1st

This week has been heavy with grief for me.

And when my grief gets heavy I still turn to writing and reading screenplays.

Even when I don't want to.

And screenwriting always turns into a form joy...release...celebration.

Always.

P.S. Hang out at the @wgfoundation library. You might meet a living legend. taken in Writers Guild Foundation by @diamond_the1st
