Straight out of the Boogie Down Bronx, Diamond D is one of the founding members of the legendary Diggin’ in the Crates crew. Inspired by the local DJs around him, he first made his name as a producer before grabbing the mic and proving he could rap just as well as he could make beats.

His run throughout the 90s is one for the history books, releasing two classic solo albums while producing numerous timeless records for some of the biggest names in hip hop. A true architect of the golden era and without question one of the greatest producers to ever step behind the mic.
