We’re thrilled to share that new musical The Radium Girls is premiering in London at Southwark Playhouse Borough this spring, directed by friend of Diamond Dog Marissa Jaret Winokur, with Diamond Dog’s Chadd McMillan serving as Associate Director!

Set in the 1920s and inspired by the true stories of the radium dial painters, The Radium Girls follows Olive, Helen and Frances as they land what seem like the jobs of their dreams at the United States Radium Corporation. The wages are good, the work is glamorous, and they spend their days painting watch dials with the miracle element of the age: radium.

Beneath the shimmer, something much darker is hiding.

When mysterious illnesses begin spreading among the workers, the girls set out to uncover the truth and take on the people determined to keep it buried.

The curtain has officially come down on Titanique’s Broadway run!

We could not be more proud of the incredible cast, crew, creatives, and everyone who helped keep this ship sailing. What started years ago as an idea from too many martinis, has grown into a Broadway production at one of New York’s most iconic theaters, and we are so grateful to everyone who helped make the journey possible.

Thank you to our dedicated fans, friends, and fellow theater lovers for the love and supporting Titanique every step of the way. We couldn’t have done it without you.

As Titanique comes to the end of its voyage, we’re taking a moment to look back at the journey that brought this chaotic, wildly queer ship all the way to Broadway!

From its very first iteration at The Green Room 42 in 2018, to the basement of Gristedes, to the Daryl Roth Theatre, and finally to the St. James, this little ship has sailed far beyond anything we could have imagined. As one of Diamond Dog’s founders, Frankie Grande has been a part of this journey from its early days, helping bring this wonderfully unhinged show to life.

Thank you to everyone who has come aboard over the years and helped make Titanique what it is.

Stepping into Frank-N-Furter’s heels was one of the greatest honors of my life. Spending time with that character and that world taught me more about myself than I even knew I needed to learn. Today, my heart aches at the loss of one of the greatest artists of all time. Tim Curry, thank you for your fearless brilliance and for giving so many of us permission to be louder, bolder, and wholly ourselves.
