Bruh…

This documentary would be wild if I actually did it – because my whole life is full of adventurous moments of trusting God, and figuring out which step is next in all the roles that he’s given me.

2026 has been won for the books-from a house fire that had us displaced for over half the year, to injuries, to hard conversations, to the mind-blowing provision of God, to depth and test of many friendships all before April… it’s been all ride. We were grateful for His kindness to take a breath…This made our annual sabbatical uniquely sweet this year.
We are SO grateful for our church @thebrookmia trusting that God leads His church through ALL his people. It keeps us all remembering who’s the King…here’s to finishing 2026 with our eyes to the hills, hearts set on His will and hands to the plow.

It’s the Sunset Year of my 30s… and it begins today! I’m 39 and I got to have dinner beachside with some of my closest friends and watch the sunset…I didn’t know the moon would rise😱!!! Wondering what a mindful momentum is?
*

Here’s a reminder:
There is always necessity for movement, advancement and progress. Undeniably true. However, sometime there is some thing that happens right before you move- a pause. If it’s the right type of pause, it has little do with fear, but everything to do with deepening your overall resolve and exploring what is hidden or new.

This pause is not meant to be too long. It’s the spring board to move.
Move with courage in the resolve and findings of your exploration.

Sometimes the pause is just a moment to remember what God says about himself and you.
Sometimes the pause is just to take a deep breath.
Sometimes the pause is a cup of tea after a long day or a workout with a friend.
Sometimes the pause is to cry.
Sometimes the pause is to face a flaw and still believe that grace is real- not a myth.
Every pause looks different.
And every pause should be mindful- meaning you are present and willing to listen to His voice through what He gives…His word, HIs people and HIs heart, as seen through them both.
