This work explores the journey back to the self: through what was familiar, through what hurt, and ultimately, through healing.

"Love beyond the self we trust"

Each one of us lives inside a world where the self quietly becomes the center. We avoid pain, seek certainty, while overlooking that everyone lives in their own imaginary universe, just like us.

We become the gods of our little worlds, overlooking the fragility of the life we build; delicate as a soap bubble and able to burst without warning. At any moment, fate can place an obstacle in our path, forcing us to see from a different angle as our egos drown in truth. Only then we realize we were never separate, never above one another, but part of the same whole.

The tragedy begins when you have already crossed that threshold, but your heart still belongs to someone who has not. You can no longer return to the bubble, yet you cannot pull another person out of their own.

Love remains while two people stand in different realities, separated not by distance as we know it, but by the way they perceive the space of love.

"Birthday"

I've never liked celebrating my birthday. For me, it marks the only day violence briefly withdrew every year. What was presented as kindness was merely the temporary absence of cruelty, though the house still echoed with arguments hurled from one room to another... When silence never arrived, the shouting became its own kind of ritual, almost like a birthday song.

My true birthday belongs to the moment art entered my life, the moment drawing became more than expression and turned into refuge, language and survival. I cannot trace when this transformation began, so I honor it continuously. Every act of creation becomes a quiet celebration of the life I rebuilt for myself.

Nothing that happened to me as a child was ever my fault. I had to forgive myself for something I never did.

What could have destroyed me, reshaped my mind, body and soul. Every wound became part of a longer process of carving and refinement, until pain was transformed into something capable of holding tenderness, beauty and meaning.

* This drawing is one of the most vulnerable works I have ever shared. I hope someone sees a part of themselves reflected in it.

My mind still sees you, drifting somewhere within a memory that does not belong to the past I know. You are not close, but still, something binds me to you.

My bed... A chaotic sweetness that lingers beneath my electric skin. And yet, it feels unreal, like something borrowed from a dream I was never meant to remember. I search for love beneath these sheets, but no matter how deeply I look, there is none.

I feel it like a sickness. It keeps me suspended in time and space, neither alive nor gone, caught between longing and emptiness.

I feel you like an echo I cannot quite catch.
I see You.

"Loving the unbound"

This drawing explores the paradox of loving a free spirit. It celebrates the intoxicating beauty of falling in love with someone who teaches you how to fly, to live intensely, to embrace everything life has to offer. At the same time, it reveals the quiet cost of that love: the way it raises the standard of living beyond comfort. It reshapes you and slowly pulls you away from the limits, fears or grounded habits you once relied on. To love a free spirit means surrendering control. It means allowing yourself to be undone, to lose your balance and to be molded by a rhythm that refuses restraint. You cannot stand beside freedom if you have spent your life choosing safety over risk, certainty over mistakes.

Only when the love is real, pure, unguarded and free of self-interest, this kind of bond brings an overwhelming sense of peace. A knowing that nothing harmful can exist where love itself becomes the only guide.
