✨✨✨✨20 years ago today, I became the owner of Hart Academy of Dance.

What started in a small three-room facility has grown beyond anything I could have imagined. Over the years, we added more rooms, expanded our space, opened a second location in 2018, and in 2020 built the newest studio from the ground up. But the buildings and milestones are only part of the story.

The true heart of Hart Academy has always been the people.

✨To every student and family who has trusted us with your children over the last 20 years—thank you. It has been an honor to watch dancers grow not only in talent, but in confidence, character, and friendships that last a lifetime. Thank you for allowing us to be a part of your journey.

✨To the incredible staff members, teachers, and mentors who have dedicated their time, talent, energy, and love to our students—thank you. Your impact reaches far beyond the dance floor, and Hart Academy would not be what it is without you.

We’ve celebrated countless successes, navigated challenges, weathered uncertainty, and shared unforgettable memories together. Every recital, competition, class, performance, and milestone has helped shape the studio we are today.

I feel incredibly fortunate to spend my life doing what I love while serving our community and the dance world. It is a privilege I never take for granted.

And most importantly, thank you to my family. This journey has never been mine alone. Owning a dance studio is not a job—it is a lifestyle, and one that has consumed much of our lives for the past two decades. You have sacrificed, supported, encouraged, and stood beside me every step of the way. This accomplishment belongs to you as much as it does to me.🥹

Once upon a time, in a studio filled with music and big dreams, two little princesses found each other…✨

They twirled into the same very first comp team class—full of giggles, sparkles, and the kindest hearts you could imagine. From that moment on, a beautiful story began…one filled with dance floors, silly moments, and a friendship that only grew stronger with every step, turn, and leap.

Five years later, their story is still dancing on—best friends, forever side by side 🩷

Happy 10th birthday to my princess 👑! She is sweet, spicy, smart, kind, talented, funny, loving and a friend to everyone she meets! I am in awe at how much she handles on a daily basis with school, dance, soccer and piano- all with Grace and determination. She is better than I ever could have imagined and I am thankful every day that she is mine. I love you, Char! 💕 by @dianagregor

Happy 13th birthday to my first baby, Hudson! He has grown so much in the last year, I can’t even believe these photos show just one year! Last night was a dream ✨

Greatest Show WON the Industry Dance Award for Best Musical Theater! 🎪🏆

This routine was truly magical and something so special to create and watch on stage. From the day I announced the music to their star showcase performance- it was pure magic ✨✨✨

Elementary promotion 💙❤️🦅

This week we celebrated Hudson’s 6th grade promotion. He was a Gold award winner and ended his elementary career with a 4.0 and tons of memories.

My mama heart can’t believe he is going to junior high but he is so ready!

June 1, 2006- I bought this studio. Never did I ever imagine it would be what it has become. Nineteen years have flown by but also feels like a lifetime ago.

Huge thank you to everyone who has supported me on this journey, been a part of the ride and made Hart their home. My appreciation and gratitude is immeasurable. I love you all!

My princess is NINE! She is still the perfect mix of sugar and spice! She is kind, loving, smart, silly, talented, a great sister and a fierce competitor. 💪🏻
