A set of Roses heavy from the rain captured in pale blue evening light
The vase is made of greyish turquoise opaline glass with orange painted flowers on it. I found it on a flea market and kept it over a year before it found its purpose in my work. I think it fits perfectly with the flowers

All the roses were picked and arranged by me and come from the gardens of @carienspolaroids #hetbloemenkabinet

Roses are and always will be my favorite flowers
To work with them is a whole different ballgame than for example tulips or dahlias. The thorns show no mercy, my hands scratched as if I‘ve been trying to catch the local stray cat, but honestly it’s always worth the struggle

The flowers have been picked and arranged by me and come from the wonderful local biological garden @carienspolaroids #hetbloemenkabinet in Hurwenen
